Powder coating for large parts

Large part plant at ENVIRAL

Powder coating for large parts. Practically orientated seminar for metal and steel engineers.
The ENVIRAL® Oberflächenveredelung GmbH at Niemegk has organised a seminar on June 14th to provide answers to questions about the topic of powder coating. In particular the coating of very large constructional components is one of the company’s “specialties”. 13m-long elements with a weight of up to 6,000 kg per item and maximum dimensions of h = 3.60m and w = 2.50 m are powder-coated in a large part plant. Steel constructions for a mobile exhibition system, elevator shaft frames, solid web girders, light poles, steel window systems or balconies have already been processed successfully. Other projects like the coating of constructions for a steel-glass roof or a sports hall are currently being prepared, or have already been realised. In seminars experts speak about the following topics, apart from large part coating:
- What methods can be used to finish steel surfaces?
- What corrosion protection class can be achieved with powder coating?
- What details have to be taken into account for the construction of steel buildings?
- What are the experiences that steel and metal engineering companies have collected with the powder coating of steel?
Afterwards remaining questions of participants will be answered during a live powder coating presentation on steel.
This one-day event aims at metal engineers, constructors, project managers, master craftsmen, purchasers and decision-makers in steel engineering companies. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited.
